Margaret Overweg, 86, died at Good Samaritan Center in Corsica on Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 10:30 AM at First Reformed Church in Harrison with burial following in Aurora Center Cemetery in Aurora Center, SD. Visitation will be Friday, February 20, 2015 from 5:30 - 7:00 PM at Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Stickney with a prayer service at 7:00 PM.

Margaret Overweg was born on December 22, 1928 to Henry and Henrietta (Schoon) Wolbrink on their family farm near Corsica, SD. She was baptized at the First Reformed Church in Harrison, SD. She attended country school near their farm. She moved to Sioux City, IA where she worked at Younkers. She married Dirk C. Overweg on December 9, 1952 at First Reformed Church in Harrison. To this union, a son, Douglas Ray was born. They farmed near Corsica until 1987, when they moved to Stickney. Dirk died on November 29, 1992. Marge continued to live in Stickney and helped Doug on his farm. Marge moved to Leisure Living in Corsica, SD in April of 2012 where she met frequently with a

prayer group from Lighthouse Fellowship in Corsica. She enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing, and quilting, making quilts for each senior from the Lighthouse Fellowship that graduated from high school. Doug died on February 20, 2014. She moved to Good Samaritan Center in Corsica in March 19, 2014, where she died on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the age of 86.

She is survived by her sister, Florence Everson of Richfield, MN, brother-in-law, Arvin Vanden Berge of Kearney, NE, sister-in-law, Ruby Overweg of Sioux Falls, SD. And several nieces, nephews and other friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, 6 sisters, Luetta Vanden Hoek, Lavonne Willis, Alice Vanden Hoek, Jean Wolbrink, Elaine Cole, and Elaine Wolbrink in infancy, and 2 brothers, Raymond and Jerald Wolbrink.
