Mary Weerheim, 76, died at Good Samaritan Center in Corsica on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. Memorial service will be Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Koehn Bros. Funeral Chapel in Corsica with burial following in Graceland Cemetery in Corsica.

Mary Weerheim was born on May 21, 1939 to Fred Fuchs JR and Viola (Johnson) in Charles Mix County, SD. She attended school in Geddes, SD. On January 26, 1956 she married Marvin Weerheim in Huron, SD. They lived near Geddes until 1962 when they moved to a farm near Corsica. Mary worked at a cafe in Corsica. Marvin died on January 4, 1979. Mary moved to Nebraska and Kansas and in 1993 moved to Madison, SD. She moved to Good Samaritan Center in Corsica in February of 2015. She enjoyed bowling, reading, watching birds, and the Democratic Party earlier in her life. She died at Good Samaritan Center in Corsica on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the age of 76.

She is survived by 4 children,, Keith Weerheim of Corsica, SD, Fred (Jody) Weerheim of Corsica, SD, Becky (Bob) Blom of Corsica, SD, and Cindy Plamp of Stickney, SD, daughter-in-law, Arleen Weerheim of Madison, SD, 2 sisters, Alice Lucas of Academy, SD and Carol (Larry) Walker of Benedict, NE, 13 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin, son, Dale in 2015, parents, sister, Lillian Hall, and an infant brother.
