SPRING LUNCHEON AT GRACE REFORMED CHURCH FOR ALL MEN, WOMEN, AND YOUTH. Join us for "Take Back the Night", a domestic abuse program, featuring Cassandra Knowles of Baltic, SD, a domestic violence survivor. Included in the program will be Troy Strid, Douglas Co. Deputy Sheriff, Craig Parkhurst, Douglas Co. States Attorney, and Erin Baker from Children's Inn in Sioux Falls. Tickets are $3, available from Elaine Plooster (5633), Sharon Van Marel (5740), Barbara Noteboom (5806), or at Corner Market. ALL are invited to attend. |

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Douglas County Area will be hosting a Relay For Life Kickoff at the Corsica Community building. Free root beer floats will be served. Anyone interested in participating in the Relay For Life event on July 18-19 is encouraged to attend to learn more information. We will be recruiting teams, cancer survivors, and caregivers. If you are interested but unable to attend this Kickoff event please contact a committee member. Members include; Mike Fletcher, Peggy Freidel, Brenda Plooster, Sandy VandenHoek, Abby VandenHoek, or Lorisa Broughton |

"A CENTURY OF GRACE" Grace Reformed Church plans to celebrate 100 years of service to our Lord. Scheduled events include: Sat., June 14 -- Service with former ministers, a skit about church life 100 years ago, BBQ in the city park, and an evening song praise service and video. Sun. June 15 -- Morning worship, noon dinner, and evening worship, also including former ministers. We welcome all to come and celebrate with us! More details later. |

"We've Come This Far By Faith", New Holland Christian Reformed Church will be celebrating its 125th anniversary. Events planned include-Sat., June 14- a potluck picnic followed by a program and video. Sun., June 15- Morning worship followed by cake and coffee and an evening worship service. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Douglas County Area will be hosting a Relay For Life Event in Corsica. Events will begin at 7:00 pm on July 18th and run through the night ending at 7:00 am Saturday. Many activities are planned such as an opening ceremony, survivors lap, luminaria ceremony, and various entertainment to be announced. Teams will also participate in a 12 hour long team relay. Please attend the Relay Kickoff on May 19th for more information. |
